After an awesome summer in California, it was time for me to head back to Italy for my last year of culinary school. I made a quick stop in New York City for the weekend to visit one of my oldest friends, Minée, who is currently living there for work. I had been to the city before but always with my family so I was excited to have my friend show me around her favorite spots.

My weekend getaway in New York City was too short! It was great catching up with my old friend since we don’t get to see each other often. Even though she showed me all the touristy spots, theres just sooo many fun things to do in the city that never sleeps. I know I’ll surely be back as soon as I can.
